Keegan turns 3!!!

Image
Keegan turned 3 on April 8th!  Here's my attempt at a spider web! This little dude was greeted to a slew of presents from us, and those that mailed them from afar!  I can't thank you enough for the joy you brought to him. This particular one was hand chosen by big bro Archer! We did a little jumping at Epic Air Toddler time with a few of his closest toddler friends! Followed by a hot dog lunch at Portillo's where I snuck in cupcakes, and lit candles.  Probably the most stressful part of the day. Not really sure what to play with first. Of course, Archer insisted I buy a gift for him too.  Something small "so I don't feel left out."  Oh dear.  This Mario stuffed animal is something he most definitely can't lose. On a whim, Alisa and Vicki and families asked if we were doing anything for dinner.  We said no, and then ended up at Nick's Pizza.  There Keegan got a final serenade of Happy Birthday!  Covering his eyes, but smiling really big undern...

A Week Without Adam

Adam was out of town for an entire week, and here's what we did.   We held baby goats!!!   Ok, just Keegan and I, Archer happily fed them. We went sledding and played in the backyard! We held baby ducks that our neighbors "rented."  Actually, just I, held baby ducks. They got snazzy hair cuts! They got to take baths in mom and dad's bathroom, the ENTIRE week! Archer had his first t-ball practice.  It was cold.  Keegan and I lasted a 1/2 hour before we got in the car to warm up. Music class started this week!  And we were so happy to get back to something we have been missing for 2 whole years. Here goes Keegan, into the swimming pool for his first swim lesson!  He did great, but learned really quick he needed to shut his mouth. They had fun, despite another week of crap weather, but they missed their pops.

Spring Break 2022

Image
The boys had spring break March 28- April 1st.  And talk about a dreadfully cold week.  I had plans to park hop, and stay away from all indoor things, due to the insane amounts of people doing indoor things.  But no, we really couldn't do much of anything.  It rained, it was windy, it snowed.  Our first stop was the library where they especially enjoy returning their books and watching them go onto the conveyor belt.           One fun activity we got to do was go bowling with our neighbor friends.  Archer was into it.  Keegan just wanted to use the bowling ramp as a slide.   We went to the nature center with Frances.   And for me.... the boys agreed to go hold baby goats.  I don't know why they don't like it.  They are the cutest. April Fool's Day!!!!  Dog food served for breakfast.  One found it hilarious, one did not. And then why not sum it all up at the end of the week with sledding!!...
