Late April and Early May Fun

Image
The weather was definitely confused in April and May.  We didn't know if we should wear sweatshirts, long pants, short pants, or go swimming. They had a special request and that request was to go INSIDE a Dunkin' Donuts.   Not impressed. Touch a Truck Event #2

April/May

The end of April/Beginning of May was full of sickness. So sick, Archer couldn't even sit up on the table at the doctor. All viral. Lots of puke.  Lots of dehydration. Lots of naps. Once Archer was feeling better.  The rest of the family never did get what he had.  We found a new park! Keegan can sometimes be found sleeping like this now a days.

April 2022

We saw Sonic 2 at the theatre and couldn't be happier! After begging and begging, the boys flew their first kites! Touch a Truck season is upon us.  This adventure was the grand opening of the South Elgin Fire Department.  They even brought in a fake fire pole for the kids.  Modern fire stations do not have poles anymore for liability reasons.

Easter 2022

We celebrated Easter 2 weekends in a row!  First was an Easter Egg Hunt with our neighbors!  Complete with egg dying and baby chicks.  Mr. Dave also dressed up as the Easter Bunny! Then we saw the real thing at Cabella's. "Thanks Mom, for taking us to see the real bunny, I know this one is NOT Mr. Dave." -Archer Easter Day was spent at Camille's house.  It was fun because it was the first time we saw a lot of our family since the beginning of Covid.  Candy was hidden for the kids and the adults found beer bottles all through out the land! We hope you all celebrated well.
